We are pleased to share the details of a range of funding options to support pupils taking instrumental lessons with the aim of making music education accessible to all. Depending on your circumstances, there may be access to discounted instrumental lessons and help with the cost of hiring and/or purchasing an instrument. Please see below for details of funds which you may be eligible to apply for.
Kent Music
Financial assistance is available for music lessons and membership at Kent Music’s music centres. This support is open to students taking music lessons from any provider, not just Kent Music, as long as the lessons are conducted at a Kent school.
If you have an approved lesson with any music provider in a school in Kent or Medway, you can apply for financial assistance.
If you qualify for financial assistance, you may also be able to borrow an instrument from Kent Music’s stock, free of charge (subject to availability).
